MISSION BRIEFING
7PM (PST) SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2016
(typical op night and time)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

After the natural disaster that hit Tanoa, local police forces haven't been able to enforce the law and and crime has spread rampart.

Food, water and general goods are in low supply. Many business have closed their doors and aid from foreign countries has been slow in their delivery.

During the chaos, Syndikat, a collection of gangs, mobsters and desperate locals, has banded together and started many forms of illegal activities.

The head of Syndikat, Wehilani Rambuka, believes that Tanoa does not need foreign help and will do anything to push any form of help out of Tanoa.

Syndikat will use any and all means to complete their goals, from disguising themselves as civilians, using IED/VBIED and hit and run tactics.

SITUATION

Current situation stands as of September 04, 2016:

- Syndikat will use all means to force out any foreign aid

- Syndikat are cunning and will disguise themselves as civilians

- Militia are willing to help us, but they are on edge and any aggressive action will be receive poorly.

The NZ government has sent a warship HMNZS Wellington  to render aid and assist the Tanoan population during there crisis, your objective is simple, maintain security for the warship while it is docked.

KEYNOTES - You will maintain a vehicle, foot and waterborne patrol around the local area to ensure that no waterborne craft approach the warship.

There is no air support of any kind, the CO of the warship has cleared all airspace to increase detection speeds of any airborne threats.

Workers were not cleared from the docks so expect them to come and go.

Note: All persons not under the employ of Spartan Tactical Group, Nato or the Tanoan Police Force are an enemy and MUST be put down.

RECOMMENDATIONS - Setup a vehicle patrol to secure the immediate area around the dock to act as a rapid response unit. Also a foot patrol to secure the outer edge and check vehicles that may try to enter the dockyard would be advisable. A waterborne patrol must stay within 500m of the warship to interdict any approaching watercraft quickly.
